A Vigil for the lost lives of 100 Sled Dogs on April 23 2011

PLEASE join us, and invite your family, friends and co-workers. We need to make a stand for animals- and push the C-229 bill! There is now 48 cities involved and 5 Countries! We are pushing for a combined total of 1 Million Signatures! Lets stand together and make the change!

PLACE:  Cenotaph Park (Across from the Grey Hound Station)

BRING:  Please bring your dogs on a leash, and some type of type of light source. (Candle in a glass jar with sand, Glow Stick, LED lights or flashlights)

Please also show your support by putting a RED ribbon on your dog(s)

WHATS HAPPENING: We will be gathering to sign a petition to push the C-229 Bill. There will also be a quick slideshow and then a short walk.

More Info	A Vigil to Remember the Whistler 100 Sled Dogs This is a peaceful vigil in order to raise awareness against animal cruelty and in memory of "The Whistler 100" dogs who were made to suffer and killed brutally after the downfall of tourism shortly after the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, BC. Everyone is welcome to attend, you dont have to own a dog to show your support. ...
